Back on Track
It felt so good to be back on skates today, after two weeks of the worst illness I’ve had in a decade.  We rocked out 25 laps at the beginning of practice and 10 laps at the end as practice for the assessment, and while I was not happy with my wheezy time, I came in under the deadline each set.    As I build my strength back up, I foresee improvement!  I left practice on a derby high, so...

Snow & Snuffles
1/20/1011 I’ve been off work for 4 days now, terribly sick during all of them.  Today, great heaping drifts of perfectly clumping throwable snow fell from the sky to blanket our city in beautiful white…and I’m too damn sick to go slide down hills on it, make snow people in it and throw balls of it at my girlfriend and our dogs.  And that sucks.
